A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CHANGING
THE NAME OF A PORTION OF LEMON STREET TO NORTH ANAHEIM
BOULEVARD AND A PORTION OF NORTH ANAHEIM BOULEVARD FRONTING LA
PALMA PARK TO NORTH LA PALMA PARK WAY
WHEREAS, Section 34091.1 of the Govemment code authorizes the legislative body of
a City to adopt or change the name of a City street; and
WHEREAS, Section 15.08.100 of the Anaheim Municipal Code permits the City Council
to change the name of a street if the changed name conforms with the provisions of
Chapter 15.08 of the Anaheim Municipal Code and the Address and Street Name
Master Plan of the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the renaming of Lemon Street between SR91 and the intersection of
Lemon Street and Anaheim Boulevard to North Anaheim Boulevard, and the renaming
of Anaheim Boulevard along the north side of La Palma Park between Harbor and
Lemon Street to North La Palma Park Way are hereby determined to conform to
Chapter 15.08 of the Anaheim Municipal Code and to the Address and Street Name
Master Plan of the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Renaming Portion of Lemon Street. The name of that portion of Lemon
Street between the SR91 and the intersection of Lemon Street and Anaheim Boulevard
is hereby ordered changed to North Anaheim Boulevard.
Section 2. Renaming Portion of Anaheim Boulevard. The name of that portion of
Anaheim Boulevard on the north side of La Palma Park between Harbor and Lemon
Street is hereby ordered changed to North La Palma Park Way.
Section 3. City Clerk Authorization. The City Clerk be, and she is hereby, ordered to
forward a copy of this resolution to the Board of Supervisors of the County of Orange
as required by Government Code Section 34092.

CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THIS 6th DAY OF April ,
1999.
