A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM WAIVING NOTICE OF RENT-FREE
SUBLEASE AGREEMENT BY THE COUNTY OF ORANGE OF
CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM
WHEREAS, the County of Orange Social Services
Agency, proposes to enter into a Rent-Free Sublease
Agreement for the purpose of providing assistance with
the Ca1WORKS Welfare-to-Work Program at 3320 East La
Palma Avenue in the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, Government Code Section 25351 requires the
County to notify the City Clerk of the City of Anaheim,
in writing, at least sixty days prior to entering into
such Rent-Free Sublease Agreement, unless such notice
is waived by resolution of the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the County has requested that the City Council
waive such sixty-day notice requirement;
NOW, THEREFOR, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the sixty-day notice required
by Government Code Section 25351 is hereby waived with
respect to the aforementioned Rent-Free Sublease
Agreement.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 6th day of
April, 1999.
