A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE
EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM AND THE CITY OF PLACENTIA WITH
REFERENCE TO THE MAINTENANCE OF TRAFFIC
SIGNALS.
WHEREAS, traffic signals are now in existence at the
intersection of Orangethorpe Avenue and Kraemer Boulevard, a
portion of which intersection is in the City of Anaheim and a
portion of which is in the City of Placentia; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim will maintain said traffic
signals and will bill the City of Placentia for 50% of the
cost of such maintenance; and
WHEREAS, the City of Placentia has agreed to pay to the
City of Anaheim 50% of such cost of maintenance; and
WHEREAS, an agreement has been executed by the City
of Placentia incorporating the foregoing; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it is in the
best interests of the City of Anaheim to enter into said agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the Mayor and City Clerk be, and they are
hereby, authorized and directed to execute the agreement to which
reference has been made, on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 3rd day of June 1969.
