A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public
utility purposes; and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered to
sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of WM. LYON DEVELOPMENT CO.,
INC., a Delaware Corporation, to sell to the City of Anaheim the
following described real property situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, to be used for an easement
for road and public utility purposes, and more particularly des-
cribed as follows:
Easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across that portion of the South 320 feet
of the North 666 feet of the East half of the North-
east quarter of the Southeast quarter of Section 12,
Township 4 South, Range 11 West, in the Rancho Los
Coyotes, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 51, page
11 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said County,
described as follows:
Commencing at the East quarter corner of said section;
thence along the east line of said section, South 0°
13' 47" East, 459.14 feet; thence South 89° 46' 13"
West, 53.00 feet to a point in the west line of Mag-
nolia Avenue said point being the true point of
beginning of the herein described parcel; thence con-
tinuing along said west line, South 0° 13' 47" East,
94.00 feet to the beginning of a curve, tangent to
said West line, concave Southwesterly and having a
radius of 15 feet; thence Northwesterly along said
curve, through a central angle of 90° 06' 59 an
arc distance of 23.59 feet; thence South 89° 39' 14"
West, 126.61 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve
concave Southeasterly and having a radius of 50 feet;
thence Southwesterly along said curve, through a
central angle of 34° 54' 55 an arc distance of 15.72
feet to the beginning of a reverse curve having a
radius of 50 feet, a radial line bearing South 35°
15' 41" East passes through said point; thence Westerly,
Northerly and Easterly along said reverse curve, through
a central angle of 249° 49' 50" an arc distance of
218.02 feet to the beginning of a reverse curve
having a radius of 50 feet, a radial line bearing South
34° 34' 09" West passes through said point; thence
Southeasterly along last said reverse curve, through
a central angle of 34° 54' 55 an arc distance of
15.72 feet; thence North 89° 39' 14" East, 126.81
feet to the beginning of a tangent curve, concave
Northwesterly and having a radius of 15 feet; thence
Northeasterly along said curve, through a central
angle of 89° 53' 01" an arc distance of 23.53 feet
to the true point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
ATTEST:
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance of
the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 6th day of May 69.
