A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING RESOLUTION NO,
67R -376 RELATING TO THE CIRCULATION ELEMENT
ON THE GENERAL PLAN.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City
of Anaheim did hold a public hearing to consider amending Resolution
No. 67R -376 to include a portion of Jefferson Street on the
Table of Exceptions as a Secondary Highway (Jefferson Street
between Coronado Street on the north and Tustin Avenue on the
south) and at said public hearing did receive evidence and reports
from persons interested therein; and
WHEREAS, following said hearing the Planning Commission
did duly adopt Resolution No. PC69 -62 containing a report of
its findings, summary of the evidence presented at said hearing,
and a recommendation that amendments to the Highway Rights of
Way Map and Resolution No. 67R -376 to include a portion of Jefferson
Street on the Table of Exceptions as a Secondary Highway, (Jeffer-
son Street between Coronado Street on the north and Tustin Avenue
on the south) be adopted by the City Council and that the existing
Table of Exceptions to the Circulation Element Highway Rights
of Way of the General Plan be amended in accordance therewith
and upon receipt of said resolution, summary of evidence, reports
and findings, and recommendation of the City Planning Commission
the City Council did fix the 29th day of April, 1969, as the
time and the City Council Chamber in the City Hall in the City
of Anaheim as the place for a public hearing upon said proposed
Amendment to the General Plan and did give notice thereof in
the manner and as provided by law; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did hold and conduct said public hearing
and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity to
be heard and did receive evidence and reports and did thereupon
consider the recommendation of the City. Planning Commission;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine
that General Plan Amendment No. 114 to amend the Highway Rights
of Way Map and Resolution No. 67R -376 to include a portion of
Jefferson Street on the Table of Exceptions as Secondary Highway
(Jefferson Street between Coronado Street on the north and Tustin
Avenue on the south) should be approved, as recommended by the
City Planning Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that Amendment No. 114 to the General
Plan amending the Circulation Element and amending Resolution
No. 67R -376 to include a portion of Jefferson Street on the
Table of Exceptions as a Secondary Highway (Jefferson Street
between Coronado Street on the north and Tustin Avenue on the
south) be, and the same is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Planning Department
be, and it is hereby, instructed to amend the General Plan
Map to conform to the General Plan Amendment No. 114 herein
approved.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 29th day of April, 1969.
