A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE
GENERAL PLAN DESIGNATED AS AMENDMENT NO. 114,
EXHIBIT "A
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did hold a public hearing to consider an amendement to
the Circulation Element- Highway Rights of Way on the General
Plan to delete that portion of Coronado Street between Jefferson
Street and Tustin Avenue from the Arterial Streets and Highways
and Highway Rights -of -Way Maps; and to amend the. Highway Rights
of -Way Map and Resolution No. 67R -376 to include that portion of
Jefferson Street between Coronado Street on the north and Tustin
Avenue on the south, as an exception to a Secondary Highway as
shown on Exhibit "A" on file in the City Planning Division; and at
said hearing did receive evidence and reports from persons inter-
ested therein; and
WHEREAS, following said hearing the Planning Commission
did duly adopt Resolution No. PC69 -62 containing a report of
its findings, a summary of the evidence presented at said hearing,
and a recommendation that said amendment to the General Plan,
designated as Amendment No. 114 be adopted by the City Council
and that the existing "Table of Exceptions" to the Circulation
Element Highway Rights of Way on the General Plan be amended
as indicated on said Exhibit "A" on file in the City Planning
Division; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings, and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission, the City Council did fix the 29th day of
April, 1969, as the time and the Council Chamber in the City
Hall in the City of Anaheim as the place for a public hearing
upon said proposed Amendment No. 114 to the General Plan and
did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided by law;
and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such public
hearing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity
to be heard and did receive evidence and reports and did there-
upon consider the recommendations of the City Planning Commis-
sion; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine
that Amendment No. 114 to the General Plan, amending the "Table
of Exceptions" to the Circulation Element Highway Rights of
Way should be approved, as recommended by the City Planning
Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Amendment No. 114 to the General Plan
amending the Circulation Element Highway Rights of Way on
said General Plan to delete that portion of Coronado Street
between Jefferson Street and Tustin Avenue from the Arterial
Streets and Highways and Highway Rights -of -Way Map; and to amend
the Highway Rights -of -Way Map and Resolution No. 67R -376 to
include that portion of Jefferson Street between Coronado
Street on the north and Tustin Avenue on the south, as an
exception to a Secondary Highway as shown on Exhibit "A" on
file in the City Planning Division, be, and the same is hereby
approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Planning Department
be, and it is hereby, instructed to amend the General Plan Map
to conform to General Plan Amendment No. 114 herein approved.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 29th day of April, 1969.
