A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR EASEMENTS FOR DRAINAGE AND ROAD
AND PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: Easements for drainage and
road and public utility purposes; and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of EZRALOW SCHWARTZ MANAGE
MNET CO., INC., to sell to the City of Anaheim the following
described real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California, to be used for easements for
drainage and road and public utility purposes, and more particu-
larly described as follows:
PARCEL ONE: An easement for drainage purposes over, under
and across that portion of the Northwest quarter of the
Southwest quarter of Section 7, Township 4 South, Range 9
West, in the Rancho Cajon de Santa Ana, as per Map recorded
in Book 51, page 10 of. Miscellaneous Maps, records of said
Orange County, described as follows:
Commencing at the intersection of the centerline of Lincoln
Avenue, formerly known as Anaheim Olive Road, with the West
line of said Section 7, as shown on a Map of Tract 4412,
recorded in Book 155, pages 9 through 12 of Miscellaneous
Maps, records of said County; thence along said centerline
South 78° 55' 20" East 776.20 feet; thence North 0° 11' 31"
East 107.94 feet; thence South 89° 48' 29" East 25 feet to
the true point of beginning; thence continuing South 89°
48' 29" East 1.00 foot; thence North 0° 11' 31" East 20.00
feet; thence North 89° 48' 29" West 1.00 foot; thence South
0° 11' 31" West 20.00 feet to the true point of beginning.
PARCEL TWO: An easement for road and public utility purposes
over, under and across that portion of the Northwest quarter
of the Southwest quarter of Section 7, Township 4 South, Range
9 West, in the Rancho Cajon de Santa Ana, as per Map recorded
in Book 51, page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said
County, described as follows:
Commencing at the intersection of the centerline of Lincoln
Avenue, formerly known as Anaheim -Olive Road, with the West
line of said Section 7, as shown on a Map of Tract 4412,
recorded in Book 155, pages 9 through 12, of Miscellaneous
Maps, records of said County; thence South 78° 55' 20" East
along said centerline 776.20 feet; thence North 0° 11' 31"
East 71.07 feet; thence North 78° 54' 55" West 32.59 feet
to the true point of beginning; thence North 0° 11' 31"
East 302.60 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve concave
Southwesterly and having a radius of 50 feet; thence
Northerly and Northwesterly along said curve through a
central angle of 50° 12' 29" an arc distance of 43.81 feet
to the beginning of a reverse curve concave Southeasterly
and having a radius of 50 feet, a radial line bearing South
39° 59' 02" West passes through the point of beginning of
said curve; thence Northwesterly, Northerly, Northeasterly
and Southeasterly along said curve through a central angle
of 199° 31' 29" an arc distance of 174.12 feet to a point,
a radial line bearing North 59° 30' 31" East passes through
said point; thence South 0° 11' 31" West 415.93 feet; thence
North 78° 54' 55" West 58.05 feet to the point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance of
the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
