A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for
road and public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of
MILES MAHAN. a single man
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for
road and public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across the Easterly 45 feet of the Northerly
114 feet of the Southerly 285 feet of that portion of
Vineyard Lot G -6, as shown on a Map thereof recorded
in Book 4, pages 629 and 630 of Deeds, records of Los
Angeles County, California, described as follows: Be-
ginning at a point 144.75 feet Westerly measured at
right angles from the centerline of said Harbor Boule-
vard and 38.25 feet Northerly measured at right angles
from the centerline of West Water Street; thence
Northerly, parallel with said centerline of said Harbor
Boulevard 513.25 feet to the Northerly line of the
land conveyed to Joseph William Heinz, et ux by deed
recorded in Book 619, page 4 of Deeds, records of said
Orange County; thence Easterly along said Northerly
line to the centerline of said Harbor Boulevard; thence
Southerly along said centerline of Harbor Boulevard
513.25 feet, more or less, to a point in a line 38.25
feet Northerly measured at right angles from the center-
line of said West Water Street, which line is the
Northerly line of West Water Street, as fixed by that
certain deed recorded January 8, 1927, in Book 10, page
81 of Official Records; thence Westerly along said
Northerly line of West Water Street, 144.75 feet to the
point of beginning.
For the purpose of this descriptiont a centerline of Harbor
Boulevard is assumed to be the Easterly line of the above
described parcel of land.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance
of the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay
to the owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds
of the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
