69R-172RESOLUTION NO. 69R- 172 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT GRANT DEED CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public utility purposes and WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered to sell and convey the same to the City; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that the offer of THE ROMAN CATHOLIC ARCHBISHOP OF LOS ANGELES, a corporation sole An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under and across the Northerly 53 feet (as measured to the centerline of La Palma Avenue) of that portion of Lot 2 of Tract No. 153, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 11, page 46 of Miscel- laneous Maps, records of Orange County, California, described as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the Northwesterly prolongation of the West line of said Lot 2 with the centerline of La Palma Avenue (formerly North Street), as shown on said Map; thence South 89° 50' 30" East along the centerline of said La Palma Avenue, a distance of 399.85 feet; thence South 15° 08' 30" East 352.96 feet; thence North 80° 43' 15" East 197.48 feet to the Westerly line of land described in deed to James Wetton and wife, recorded April 10, 1928 in Book 148, page 389 of Official Records; thence South 16 41' 50" East 377.96 feet along said Westerly line to the South line of said Lot 2; thence South 74° 13' 30" West 564.80 feet to the Southwest corner of said Lot 2; thence North 17° 01' 00" West 861.42 feet to the point of beginning. to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, to be used for an easement for road and public utility purposes and more particularly described as follows: be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey- ance of said property. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance of the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
