A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR WATER LINE
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for
water line purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of
FOREST LAWN CEMETERY ASSOCIATION
An easement for the installation and maintenance of
a water line over, under and across a strip of land
8.00 feet in width, being a portion of the Southeast
quarter of Section 5, Township 4 South, Range 10
West, in the Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, as
per Map recorded in Book 51, page 10 of Miscellaneous
Maps, records of Orange County, California, the
centerline of said strip being described as follows:
Commencing at a point on the easterly line of the
Southeast quarter of said Section 5, distant North
0° 02' 23" East 1320.00 feet from the Southeast
corner of said Section 5; thence North 89° 55' 37"
West 359.33 feet to the True Point of Beginning;
thence North 0 02' 23" East 396.00 feet.
The east and west lines of said strip to be lengthened
or shortened as the case may be to intersect with
the north and south line of that parcel of land des-
cribed in deed recorded November 1, 1962, in Book
6308, page 625 of Official Records of Orange County.
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for
water line purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance
of the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay
to the owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds
of the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 1st day of April 19 69
