A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 69R -101
ENTITLED, "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING
THAT PUBLIC CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY REQUIRE
THE CONSTRUCTION AND COMPLETION OF A PUBLIC
IMPROVEMENT, TO WIT: THE IMPROVEMENT OF CROWTHER
AVENUE, FROM KRAEMER BOULEVARD TO APPROXIMATELY
1531 FEET EAST THEREOF, IN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM,
WORK ORDER NO. 343; APPROVING THE DESIGNS, PLANS,
PROFILES, DRAWINGS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION THEREOF; AUTHORIZING THE CONSTRUC-
TION OF SAID PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT IN ACCORDANCE WITH
SAID PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, ETC.; AND AUTHORIZING
AND DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH A NOTICE
INVITING SEALED PROPOSALS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION
THEREOF;" BY EXTENDING THE TIME FOR THE OPENING
OF BIDS TO APRIL 3, 1969.
WHEREAS, the City Council did on February 25, 1969
adopt Resolution No. 69R -101 finding and determining that public
convenience and necessity require the construction and completion
of a public improvement, to wit: The improvement of Crowther
Avenue, from Kraemer Boulevard to approximately 1531 feet east
thereof, in the City of Anaheim, Work Order No 343, approving the
designs, plans, profiles, drawings and specifications for the
construction thereof; authorizing the construction of said public
improvement in accordance with said plans, specifications, etc.;
and authorizing and directing the City Clerk to publish a notice
inviting sealed proposals for the construction thereof, as more
particularly set forth in said resolution; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did in said resolution fix
the 20th day of March, 1969 at the hour of 2:00 o'clock P.M. as
the date and hour for the opening of sealed proposals for the
furnishing of all plant, labor, services, materials and equip-
ment, and all utilities and transportation, including power, fuel
and water and the performance of all work necessary to construct
and complete said public improvement; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the time for the
opening of said sealed proposals should be extended to April 3,
1969.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Resolution No. 69R -101 be, and the same
is hereby amended by extending the time for the opening of sealed
proposals for the improvement of Crowther Avenue, from Kraemer
Boulevard to approximately 1531 feet east thereof, in the City
of Anaheim, Work Order No. 343, to April 3, 1969, at the hour
of 2:00 o'clock P.M., in the City Council Chamber in the City
Hall in the City of Anaheim.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and
she is hereby authorized to publish an addendum to the Legal Notice
heretofore published, inviting sealed proposals for the construc-
tion of said public improvement, extending the time for the
opening of said sealed proposals to April 3, 1969, at the hour
and place hereinbefore mentioned.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 18th day of March, 1969.
