A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING EXECUTION
AND FILING OF APPLICATION FOR CERTAIN
FEDERAL FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE UNDER THE
FEDERAL DISASTER ACT.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim rendered certain services
and assistance and furnished certain supplies in connection
with a flood disaster and storm damage; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is entitlted to reim-
bursement for costs incurred in connection with the rendering
of said flood disaster and storm damage services and assis-
tance; and
WHEREAS, the Federal Disaster Act (Public Law 875,
81st Congress; 42 U.S.C. 1855- 1855g) provides for reimbursement
for the cost of said flood disaster and storm damage services
and supplies upon the filing of an application for such reim-
bursement.
NOW, THEREFORE'i BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that Paul L. Hayes, Disaster Services
Coordinator of the City of Anaheim, be and he is hereby author
ized to execute for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim, a
public entity established under the laws of the State of California,
said application and to file it in the appropriate State office
for the purpose of obtaining certain Federal financial assis-
tance under the Federal Disaster Act (Public Law 875; 81st
Congress; 42 U.S.C. 1855- 1855g).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed
by me this 18th day of March, 1969.
