RESOLUTION NO. 69R 122
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for
load and public utility purposes
WHEREAS, the owner s of said property ha Ve offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of UNITED CALIFORNIA BANK,
a California Corporation and MARION B. MALOUF. as Executors of
the Estate of BERT B. MALOUF, Deceased, and MARION B. MALOUF.
to sell to e City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for
road and public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under
and across that portion of the East half of the Northeast
quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section 23, Township 4
South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa
Ana, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 51, page 10 of Mis-
cellaneous Maps, records of said County, described as follows:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of said Northwest quarter;
then South 0° 15' 12" East, along the East line of said North-
west quarter, 499.62 feet; thence South 89° 56' 28" West,
parallel to the North line of said Northwest quarter to a
point in a line parallel with and distant Westerly 45 feet,
as measured at right angles, from said East line; thence
along said parallel line, North 0° 15' 12" west, 421.71 feet
to the beginning of a tangent curve, concave Southwesterly
and having a radius of 25 feet; thence Northwesterly along
said curve, through a central angle of 89° 48' 20 an arc
distance of 39.19 feet to a point in a line parallel with,
and distant Southerly 53 feet, as measured at right angles
from the North line of said Northwest quarter; thence along
last said parallel line, South 89° 56' 28" West, 506.59 feet
to a point in the Easterly line of the Atchison, Topeka and
Santa Fe Railway Company's right of way, 100 feet wide; thence
along last said Easterly line North 15° 23' 10" West, 54.95
feet to a point in the North line of said Northwest quarter;
thence along said North line, North 89° 56' 28" East, 590.86
feet to the point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance
of the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay
to the owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds
of the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 4th day of March 19 69
