A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING qN Y N TO C17`Y
OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR AN EASE-
MENT FOR pirRi.IC STREET AND HIGHWAY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for public street
and h iahway rurooses
and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of THE ORANGE COUNTY FLOOD
CONTROL DISTRICT
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for public
street and hiahwav purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
The North 20.00 feet of the south 60.00 feet
(measured from the centerline of Katella Avenue)
of that portion of Lot 8, Block 17 of a Subdivision
of the South half of Section 21 Township South,
Range 10 West, in the Rancho San Juan Cajon de
Santa Ana, city of Anaheim, County of Orange, state
of California, per map recorded in book 1, page 33
of Miscellaneous Record Maps in the office of the
County Recorder of said county, that is included
within a strip of land 50.00 feet wide as described
in a deed to the Orange County Flood Control District
recorded August 26, 1957 in book 4017, page 429 of
Official Records in the office of said County Recorder.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar 01.00).
