A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR AN EASE-
MENT FOR PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for public
utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of PACIFIC MIDWEST
DEVELOPMENT CO., a corporation,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for public
utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
PARCEL ONE: An easement for public utility purposes over,
under and across that parcel of land lying parallel with
and 5.00 feet Northerly and 5.00 feet Westerly of the follow-
ing described line, being a portion of Lot 25 of Anaheim
Extension as shown on a Map of Survey made by William Hamel
and filed in the Office of the County Recorder of Los Angeles
County, California, a copy of which is recorded in Book 3,
pages 163, et seq., entitled "Los Angeles County Maps" in
the Office of the County Recorder of Orange County, California,
described as follows:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of that land described in
the deed to Manchester Feed and Milling Company, a partnership,
recorded on March 30, 1954 in Book 2698, page 373 of Official
Records; thence South 74 33' 15" West, a distance of 567.24
feet; thence South 0 03' 00" East a distance of 249.53 feet
to the point of terminus of the line herein described.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM any portion lying within Ball Road.
The Northerly 2.00 feet and the Westerly 2.00 feet of the
above described easement will be used for cross arms and
electric power line overhang purposes only.

be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar 01.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
