A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT A
CHANGE OF ZONE SHOULD NOT BE GRANTED IN A
CERTAIN AREA OF THE CITY HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission cf the City of Anaheim
has heretofore duly passed and adopted a resolution recommending denial
of a change in the boundaries of the zone or zones hereinafter mentioned
and described, after having fixed a time and place for the holding of a
public hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in Title 13 of
the Anaheim Municipal Code, and after having duly held and conducted
such public hearing to consider said proposed change of zone or zones,
and after having received evidence and reports from persons interested
therein; and
WHEREAS, within a period of forty (40) days following the
hearing thereon, the Planning Commission did duly announce by formal
resolution its findings of facts and declare its opinions and reasons
for recommending denial of said proposed change in the boundaries of
the zone or zones hereinafter mentioned and described; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of the report and recommendation of the
City Planning Commission, the City Council did thereupon fix the 13th
day of A ust 1963 as the time and the Council Chamber
in the City a o t e City of Anaheim as the place for a public hear-
ing upon said proposed change of zone or zones and did give notice there-
of in the manner and as provided in said Title 18 of the Anaheim Muni-
cipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public hearing,
the City Council did duly hold and conduct such public hearing and did
give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be heard and d id
receive evidence and reports and did thereupon consider the recommende-
tions of the City Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that the
property and area proposed to be changed from the zone or zones in
which it is now situated to a different zone, as hereinafter set forth,
is more suitable for the zone or zones in which it is now incorporated
and that a change of zone should not be granted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE I T RESOLVED by they City Council of the
City of Anaheim that all of the property and area situated in the City
of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
PARCEL 1:
That portion of the south half of the southwest quarter of the
northwest quarter of the southwest quarter of Section 2, Town-
ship 4 South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa
Ana, in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
as said Section 2 is shown on a map of Golden State Tract No. 2,
recorded in Book 4, page 68 of Miscellaneous Maps, in the Office
of the County Recorder of said County, described as follows:
Beginning at the southwest corner of the said northwest quarter of
the southwest quarter of Section 2; thence East 200.15 feet along
the southerly line of said northwest quarter; thence at right
angles North 135.00 feet; thence West 201.77 feet to the westerly
line of said northwest quarter; thence South 0 41' 20" East
135.01 feet to the point of beginning.

PARCEL 2:
Lot 9 of Tract No. 2022, in the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California, as per map recorded in
Book 58, Pages 24 and 25 of Miscellaneous Maps, in the
Office of the County Recorder of said County.
remain in R -A RESIDENTIAL AGRICULTURAL and R -1, ONE- FAMILY
RESIDENTIAL ZONES in which it is now incorporated, and that the
reclassification to C -1, NEIGHBORHOOD COMMERCIAL ZONE be denied,
as recommended by the City Planning Commission, without
prejudice.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 26th day of November, 1963.

adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the

and Coons.
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None.
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None.
AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of
Anaheim approved and signed said resolution on the 26th day of
November, 1963.
