A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF AL"iAHEIM REQUESTING THE COUNTY OF ORANGE
TO INCLUDE WITHIN THE ARTERIAL HIGHWAY FINAN-
CING PROGRAivl CERTAIN HIGHWAY IHPROVEMENT
PROJECTS.
l'laEREAS, t.ile City of Anaheim desires to improve the
following streets:
Imperial Hwy. from Santa Ana Cyn. Rd. to Nohl Ranch Rd.
Nohl Ranch Rd. fram Imperial Hwy. to Royal Oak Rd.
La Palma Ave. from Weir Canyon Rd. to 2965' Eto Imperial Hwy.
Brookhurst St. fram Lincoln Ave. to Ball Rd.
Katella Ave. from Walnut St. to Euclid St.
Convention Way fram Clementine st. to Harbor Blvd.
Clementine St. from Katella Ave. to Orangewood Ave.
WHEREAS, the aforementioned streets are important
arteries in the County of Orange and of general County interest;
and
WHEP~AS, Article 2 and l~ticle 3, Chapter 9, Division
2 of the Streets and Highways Code authorizes a County, if it so
desires, to expend funds apportioned to it out of the California
Highway Users Tax Fund for aid to any City in the improvement,
construction or repair of a street within a City; and
WHEP~AS, tje Board of Supervisors intends to, by appro-
priate action, provide in t.ile County Budget of the Special Road
Improvement FWld for the Fiscal Year 1972-1973 a sum of money
for the improvement of streets within the incorporated cities
of the county in accordance witn the Orange County Arterial High-
way Financing Program.

does hereby request, the aoard of Supervisors of the County of
Orange to allocate to the City of Anaheim, fram County funds,
the amounts set fort~l below, said amounts to be matched by funds
from said City, to b~ used co aid said city in the improvement
of the streets set forth ~ercin and for the acquisition of neces-
sary ri9uts-of-way; said im?rovements and acquisition of rights-
of -Nay and tl1~ specific amounts in connection with each project
