RESOLUTION NO. 71R- 538
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OP THE CITY
OF ANAHELJ.! AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK TO EXECUTE A PARTI:CIPATION AGREEMENT
WITH THE DIV:rSION OF HIGHWAYS (BALL ROAD AND
STATE COLLEGE BOULEVARD) .
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is in receipt of District
Agreement No. 2796 of the Department of Public Works, Division
of Highways, State of California, relating to the signalization
of State College Boulevard and Ball Road; and
WHEREAS, said agreement has been reviewed by the
Department of Public Works of the City of Anaheim and found to
be equitable in its distribution of costs; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it is in the best
interests of the City to enter into District Agreement No. 2796.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim t.hat. t.he Mayor and the Ci.1:y. Clerk be, and they
are hereby authorized and directed to execute on behalf of the
City of Anaheim that certain agreement designat.ed as IIDistrict.
Agreement No. 2796" covering modification of signals, road work
and channelization on State College Boulevard, from approximat.ely
0.1 mile south of Ball Road to Courtney Way.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the orig:l.nal :and one executed
copy of said agreement be forwarded to the Office of the City
Att.orney for transmittal together with two certified copies of
this resolution authorizing approval and execution of said agree-
men 1:. .
THE POREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 7th day of December , 1971.
