RESOLUTION NO. 7lR-522
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING NEGOTIAT:rONS FOR THE PUR-
CHASE OF REAL PROPERTY FOR PARK PURPOSES AND
AUTHORIZING PA,YMENT THEREFOR.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the Cit.y of Anaheim has
heretofore authorized the purchase of certain real property for
park purposes at "the corner of Clementine and Elm Streets; and
WHEREAS, negotiations therefor have "been concluded and
the cost thereof to the City of Anaheim for the Mini-park encom-
passed by the transaction is less than the appraised value of the
property involved; and
WHEREAS, the Federal Government has indicated its
willingness to sh~re in one-half of the cost of the. "acquisition
of the land for said Mini-park~ and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that "it is "in the best.
interests of the City to confi~ said negotiations and to author-
ize payment "of the amount involved.
NOW, THEREPORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that it confirm and it does hereby confirm
and authorize the 'purchase of the following described property:
That certain real property situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
Lot l3 of the Estate of l~ary Strobel in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, as per map recorded
in Book 3, pages 76 and 77 of Miscellaneous Records of Los
Angeles County, California.
SUBJECT to covenants, conditions, reservations, re"stric-
tions, easements and right.s of way of record.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance be
and he ~s hereby authorized and directed to draw a City of Anahe~
Warrant p~yable to Jack Hollins Fulks in the amount of $10,800.00.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said warrant be turned
over to the Office of the City Attorney for delivery to said Jack
Hollins Fulks upon the latter's delivery of a properly executed
deed to the property in favor of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
