A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OP THE CI.TY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANtl' PROM SOUTHERN
PACIFIC TRANSP'ORTATION COMPANY, RELATING TO
THE BALL ROAD CROSSING NO. BK-51l.3.
WHEREAS, the Southern Pacific Transportat.ion Company,
a corporation of the state of Delaware, ha,s .te'nder.ed an Indenture
granting to the City of Anaheim the right 1:0 construct., recon-
st.ruct, maintain and use a street or highway upon and across
the following des.c'ribed real property:, subj.ect to. 'the reserva-
tions, covenants and conditions 'therei.n conta.ined.
PARCEL 'ONE
The northerly 53.00 feet of the Northwest quarter of
Section 23, Township 4 Sou1:h, Range 10 West, S. B . B.. & M.,
lying within the Southern Pacific Transportation Companyls
land (6.0 feet wide) .
PARCEL TWO
The southerly 53.00 feet of the Southwest quarter of
Section 14, Township 4 South, Range 10 ,West, S.B.B. & 'M.,
lying within said land of Southern Pacific Transportation
Company locate.d between Lots 24 and 25 of the Anaheim
Extensi"on, as said lots are shown on a map recorded in
Book 3, page 163, records of Los Angeles' 'County, California.
The above-de.scribed real property is shown on the print of
Railroad's Los Angeles 'Division Drawing A-541l, Sheet No.1,
revised February 18, 1971, attached and made a part of said
Indenture.
AND WHEREAS, said grantor has .tendered to.. the Ci,ty
said above-mentioned Indenture to be executed by the Southern
Pacific Transportation Company and the City of Anaheim, which
Indenture the City Council finds would be for the benefit and
best interest of the City of Anaheim and should be. approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Ci.ty Council of
the City of Anaheim that the. street or hi.ghway Indenture above
mentioned be, and the same is, hereby approved and accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City
Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized to execute said
Indenture for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
