A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OP THE CITY
OP ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AND
SOUTHERN PACIFIC TRANSPORTATION COMPANY,
RELATING TO THE SUNKIST STREET GRADE CROSS-
ING NO. BM-513.l.
WHEREAS, the Southern Pacific Transportation Company
has tendered to the City of Anaheim an aqreement providing for
the terms and conditions covering the installation of a new
railroad street grade crossing of Sunkist Street at Cerritos
Avenue in connection with the openinq of Sunkist Street from
Ball Road to Howell: and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it would be in
the best interests of the City to enter into such agreement and
to assume the obligation for said costs estimated to be $23,800.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the Mayor and the City Clerk be, and
they are hereby authorized and directed to execute said agreement
for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 16th day of November , 1971.
