RESOLUTION NO. 71R- 514 '
A RESOLUT.ION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR
AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A SECOND AMENDMENT
TO LEASE WITH JOHN YAMAGUCHI (fo'rme'rly wagner
and Montague property).
WHEREAS, heretofore the forxaer Wagner and Montaque
properties have been leased to John Yamaguchi and Louie Kodama
for agricultural purposes1 and
WHEREAS, the partnership of John Yama'guchi and Louie
Kodama has been disso~ved and John Yamaguchi 'was accepted as
sole less'ee in Amendment to Lease, dated August 17, ,19'71, by
Resolution No. 71R-374; and
WHEREAS, John Yamaguchi now finds that he will be
unable to farm "Parcel Two" of said lease and desires to reduce
the amount of property under lease by deleting said Parcel Two
therefrom, and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City
of Anaheim t.o amend said lease by deleting said Puce'l Two
therefrom.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city Council of
the City of Anaheim that. the base Lease Agreement be amended
by amending paragraph 1 thereof to delete Parce1 TWo therefrom
and to change the annual rental from '$1,932..50 to' $1,028..75, all
as more fully set forth in the Second Amendment to Lease.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City
Clerk be, and they hereby are, authorized and direct~d to execute
said Second Amendment to Lease on behalf of the City of Anahe,im.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of the executed Second
Amendment to Lease be returned to the office of the City
At.torney for transmitt.al to John Yama'quchi.
