A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHE,IM APPROVING THE TERMS AND. CONDITI'ONS.
OP AN ENCROACHMENT PERMIT AND AUTHORI.Z ING THE
MAYOR AND CI,TY CLERK TO EXBCUTE SAID ENCROACH-
MENT PERMIT ~TH KWIKSET LOCK'S INC.
WHEREAS, Kwikset Lock I sIne., a corporation, D.i vision
of Emhart Corporation, are the owners 'of property in the City
of Anaheim over which the City owns an easement for public
utility purposes; and
WHEREAS, Kwikset Lock I sIne. wishes to use a porti'on
of said easement for parking purposes; and
WHEREAS, unless Kwikset Loakls Inc. is allowed to
encroach upon the easement of the City, an ex.tr.eme 'and undue
hardship will be caused to them: and
WHEREAS, the proposed encroachment for a parking
structure across a portion of the easement of City will not
interfere with the present use of the easement by the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RE.SOLVED b:~ the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the terms and conditions of a license
agreement between the City of Anaheim and Kwikse~ Lock's Inc.,
dat.ed . November 16 , 1971, be, and the same are hereby,
approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor ~d City Clerk
are hereby authorized to execute said license ~qreement 'on behalf
of the City of Anaheim.
