A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM DETERMINING THE NECESSITY FOR AND
DIRECTING THE ACQUI'SITION BY EMINENT DOMAIN
OF REAL PROPERTY FOR PARK PURPOSES. (LITTLE
PEOPLE'S PARK - FULK PARCEL)
WHEREAS, public convenience and necessity require the
acquisition of certain real property within the, City of Anaheim
for the following purposes, to wit: park purposes: 'and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
public interest and necessity require the acquisition of all that
certain real propert.y herein described by the Ci.t.y of Anaheim for
park purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that public interest and necessity require
the acquisit.ion of that certain real property situated in the
City of Anahe.im, County of Orange, State. of California, more
particularly described as follows, to wit:
Lot 13 of the Estat.e of Mary Strobel, as shown on .a
map thereof recorded in Book 3, pages 76 and 77, Mis-
cellaneous Maps, records of Los Angeles County, Cali-
fornia.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby
find and dete~ine that public interest and necessity require the
acquisition of said land by the City of Anaheim for the afore-
mentioned purposes and that the taking of the property herein-
before described is necessary therefor and that the 'u.ses to which
it is to be put are uses authorized by law and the taking of said
property is necessary t.o such uses.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that t.he City Council does hereby
authorize th~ acquisition of said property by the City of Anaheim,
and the City Attorney of the City of Anaheim is hereby directed
to institute an action in eminent domain for the acquisition of the
title to said property, and to perform and carry out all of t.he
necessary proceedings and steps incident to the acquisition of
the title to said property.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 9th day of November, 1971.
