A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEL~ DENYING VARIANCE NO. 2289.
WHEREAS, aft.er a request for variance by BILL ASAWA,
A.S.A.W.A. CORPORATION, OWner, was received, a public hearing
before the Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim was held
upon due and proper notice as a result of which Variance No.
2289 was denied covering the following described property.
Parcell:
Lot 168 of Tract No. 2228, in the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, Stat.e of California, as per map recorded in
Book 69, pages 34 to 37 inclusive of Miscellaneous Maps,
in the Office of the County Recorder of said Count.y.
Except all underground water, without the right of
surface entry, as granted to Dyke Water Company, a
corporation, by deed recorded March 3, 1955, in Book
2982, page 83, Official Records.
Parcel 2:
That portion of that 46.00 feet. wide strip of land
shown as service road on map of Tract No. 2228, in the
City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
as per map recorded in Book 69', pages 34 to 37 inclusive
of Miscellaneous Maps, in the Office of the County
Recorder of said County, lying westerly of Lot 168 of
said tract and northerly of the westerly prolongation
of the southerly straight line of said Lot. 168'.
WHEREAS, thereaft.er, wi thin the time p:r:~scribed by
law an interested party or the City Council on its own motion
caused the review of said Planning commission action at a public
hearing noticed and held as prescribed by law and a$ a result
thereof the City Council does hereby make the following findings:
1. There is no substantlal property right possess'ed
by other property in the same vicinit.y and zone
and denied t.he subject property.
2. It appears that the subject property can be
adequately developed and used under the present
zone.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anahe~ t.hat said variance be and the ~ame is
hereby denied.
