A RESOLUTXON OF THE CITY COUN.C:IL OF THE CITY"
OF ANAHEIM DECLARING ITS INTENTiON TO. VACATE
CERTAIN REAL Pl\OPERTY AND prx:tNG A DATE FOR
HEARING THEREON.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the. City' of Anaheim has
elec1:ed t.o proceed. under the. provisions' 'of the Street: Vacat.ion
Act of 1941 in connection with 'a request for vacation and
abandonment of certain real property hereinafter described,
with .the City retaining and reservinq certain easements' for
public utility purpose's the.rein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Ci ty Council
of the Cit.y' of Anaheim that it hereby decla'res 'its intention to
vacate, abandon and close to public use that portion of roadway
as it may relate t.o the following property, more particularly
described as 'follows, to wit:
That certain portion of right of way commonly known as.
Miraloma overcrossing locat.ed in the City of Anahe.im,
County of Orange, State of California, lying within Lot
One, Block 10' of ~e Golden Stat.e Tract,- as shown on a
map recorded in Bo.ok 4, pages 66 and 67, Miscellaneous
Maps, records of said Orange "County, to' be' 'abandoned,
described as 'follows:
Beginning at ~e true point of beginning of that certain
parcel of land described in deed recorded September 17,
1969, in Book 9081, pages 964 and 965, Official Records~
thence S 500 15' 46" E, 106.30 feet; thence S 490 20,- 47"
W, 38.40 feet.; t:h.ence N 440 391 1311 W, 67.17' feet; thence
N 430 01' 57f1 W, 94.41 feet to. the be',ginning of a curve
concave southeasterly and having a radius of 25 feet., a
radial line bearing S 490 20' 4711 W passes through. 'sa"id
point of beginnin9; thence Northwesterly, Northerly and
Northeasterly along said curve through a central angle
of 1160 22' 34" an arc distance of 52.26 feet to the
beginning of a cu~e concave southerly and having a radius
of 220 feet, a radial line be'arinq N 140 16 t 39 II W pass'es
through the point of beginning of the last mentioned curve:
thence Northeasterly along last" menti'oned curve through a
central angle of 230 26' 36 II an arc dist'ance of 90.02
feet; thence S 800 50' 03" E, 87.67 feet tangent to last
mentioned curve to the beginning of a curve concave nor~-
easterly and having a radius of 280 feet, a radial line

of last mentioned curve; thence Sou~easterly and Easterly

Reserving therefrom an easement for publ.ic utility purposes
including but: not limited to sanitary seWer, wa.ter lines,
sto~ drain and related facilities including reserving
a public utility easement to County Sanit.ation District
No. 2 of Orange County for sanitary sewer purposes com-
prised of a 30 inch trunk line and manhole over, under and
across' all 'that land lying northerly of the line above des-
cribed, as having a bearing and distance of S 740 00' 46E1
W, 184.46 feet and the westerly prOlongation thereof.

Vacation Act of 1941.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that. .the City council hereby
declares that it intends to reserve the following easements in
connection with the request'ad vaca,tl'on and aba.ndomnent, details
of which are on file in the Office of the City Clerk for further
particulars :'
1. Easement for public utility purpose's 'including, but
not. limited t.o, a sanit.ary sewer, storm drain and
water line purposes.; and
2. Twenty-foot easement for the existing County Sanita-
tion District No.2, 30 inch trunk sewer and manhole
located within the area proposed for abandonment.
BE IT FURTHER RES.OLVED that a time and place ,for hear-
ing all persons inter.es.ted in or ob.j'e'cting to the proposed vaca-
tion and abandonmen.t. has been fixed on the . 7th day of' , December
1971, at 1:30 o'clock P.M. in the City Councrr-Chamber in the
City Hall in the City of Anahe.im.
AND BE IT FURTHER RES'OLVED that. .the City Clerk shall
certify t.o the passage of this Resolution and shall cause the
same to be pub1ished in a manner presc'ribed by law in the
Anaheim Bullet.in, a newspaper of general circulati:on, printe.d,
pub1ished and circulated in said City of Anah~.
