A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A SUPPLEMENTARY
POLICE AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF
FULLERTON.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim desires to have, from
time to time, supplementary police protection furnished by the
City of Fullerton within the corporate limits of the City of
Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the City of Fullerton is willing to furnish
such supplemental police protection to the City of Anaheim for
such purpose; and
WHEREAS, the parties desire to provide for the status
of, and the manner of bearing the cost and expense of, all
police officers furnished to the City of Anaheim by the city of
Fullerton for such purpose; and
WHEREAS, an agreement has been submitted to the City
Council to be made and entered into between the parties, pro-
viding for the furnishing of such supplementary police pro-
tection upon the terms and conditions, and for the oompensation
set forth therein; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that such agreement
is satisfactory and would be for the benefit and in the best
interest of the city, and should be approved.
NOW, TliEREFORE1 BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the Mayor and the City Clerk be, and
they are hereby authorized and directed to execute said agree-
ment for and on behalf of the city of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 26th day of October, 1971.
