A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OP THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ORDERING THE VACATION AND AB1UIDON~
MENT OF THAT PORTION OF CERTAIN ~ PJ\OPEB,TY
DESCRIBED HEREIN AND RES'ERVING THEREFROM A
CERTADT EASEMENT POR PUBLIC UTILXTY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the Ci.ty ot Anahe.im did
on the 5th '.day of October, 1971, dec1are by Resolution No.
71R-442 its. intention to vacate and abandon that portion of
certain real property described herein, subject to the. following
conditions:
1. Reservation of a 10' public ut.i1ity ea.sement .a1ong
northerly line of area to be abandoned.
2. Construction of a standard 25' radius 'curb .return
at the northeast 'corner of Beach 'Boulevard and
Rome Avenue, construction of curb and gut.ter from
the new curb return to the existing curb and gutter
on the north si-de of Rome Avenue 'and removal of
existing street improvements between the new curb
and the new property line. All of the. above to be
as approved by the City Engineer and at no cost to'
the City of Anaheim.
and did set the 26t:h day of Octobe.r, 19'71, for a public hearing
thereon.
WHEREAS, on said 26th. day of October, 1971, at. 1:30
o'clock P.M. in the Council Chambe.r in the City Hall of the
City of Anaheim, said publ.ic he.aring was "held; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds fram the evidence
submitted at said public hearing that said portion at the real
property des.cribed herein and in said Re.so'1ution of Xntention
is unnecessary for present or prospective roadway and alley pur-
poses, subj.ect. to the conditions hereinabo.ve se't. forth.'
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the 'ci ty Council of
the City of Anaheim:
1. That it finds that said public hearing was properly
held and that all notices were given and publications
made as 'required by law.
2. That that portion of ~e real property toward which
a request for vacation and abandonment was directed
is not necessary for present or prospective roadway
and alley purposes and does hereby order that said
portion, as herein set. forth, be and it is 'hereby
vacated, abandoned and closed to public use', subject
to the. condi t.ions he.reinabove stated.

That portion of a certain 46.00 foot wide 'service
road located in the City of Anaheim, County of
Oranqe, State of California, to, be abandoned,
describe.d as follows:
Beginning at the northwes.t corner ot Lot 16'8 in
Tr.act No. 2228, as shown on a ma.p recorded in Book
69, pages 34 through 37, inclusive, Misc'ellaneous
Maps, records of said counity; 'thence SO.. 10' 3Q n W
106.96 feet along the west line of said Lot 168 to
'the beginning of a tangent curve concave northeast-
erly and having a radius' o.f 13 feet: thence Southerly
and Easterly along said curve .through a central angle
of 90. 10" 58" an arc distance of 20...46 feet to' an
intersection with a line parallel wi.th. 'and 30 feet
northerly of t.he centerline of" ROme Avenue~ thence
S 890 59' 3211..W, 43.99 feet along said parallel line
to the beginning of a tangent: curve concave northeast-
erly and having a radius of 15 feet; tnence Nortnwest-
erly and Northerly along said curve through a central

to an intersection with a line parallel with and 46.00
feet westerly of the westerly line of said Lot 168;
thence N 00 10' 3011 E, 104.95 feet along said paral-
lel line to an intersection with the westerly prolonga-
tion of the north line of said Lot 168; thence N 890
591 32n E, 46.00 feet to the point of beginning..
Reserving therefrom an easement for public utility
purposes 'over, under and acros.s' the northerly 10
feet 'thereof.
AND BE, IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and
she is. hereby autho.rized and directed to cause' a certified copy
of this Resolution and Order, attested by her under the seal of
the City' of Anaheim, to be recorded in the Office of the Count.y
Recorder of Orange County, California.
