71R-473 RESOLUTION NO. 7lR-473 .'~ A RESOLUTrON OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ORDERING THE VACATiON AND ABANDON- MENT OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY DESCRIBED HEREIN. WHEREAS, the City Council of the Ci.ty of Anaheim did, on the 5th day of Octobe.r, 1971, declare by Resolution No. 71R-441 its intention to vacate and abandon that portion of certain real property described therein, indicat.ing its inten- tion to reserve certain public utility easements therefrom, and did set the 26th day of October, 1971, for a public he.aring thereon; and WHEREAS, on said 26t.h day of October, 1971, at l:30 o'clock P.M. in the Council Chamber in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim, said public hearing was held~ and WHEREAS, the City Council finds from the evidence sub- mitted at said public hearing that the northern portion of Post Lane described in said Resolution of Intention should not be abandoned; that that portion of real property, commonly known as Woodwind Land (formerly Orchard Drive) is unnecessary for present or prospective roadway and alley purposes, but that certain public utility easements should be reserved therei.n until Tract No. 7103 has been recorded; and miEREAS, the Placentia Unified School District has agreed to dedicate a cul-de-sac as the northerly terminus of Post Lane. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim: 1. That it finds that said public he.aring was properly held and that all notices were given and publ.ications made as required by law. 2. That the northern portion of Post Lane described in said ReS01\ltion of Intention should not be vacated, abandoned or closed to public us'e. 3. That the dedication of a cul-de-sac as the northerly terminus of Post Lane by the P1acentia Unified School District be accepted. 4. That certain public utility easements referred to in said Resolution of Intention be reserved until the dedication of the above-mentioned cul-de-sac and the recordation of Tract No. 7103, at. which time said easements are to be abandoned. 5. That said portion of real property herein ordered vacated, abandoned and closed to public use is more particularly described as follows, to wit: That portion of that certain roadway commonly known as Woodwind Lane (formerly Orchard Drive) located in the. City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, to be abandoned, described as follows: -1- commencing at the centerline intersection of Post Lane and Woodwind Lane, as shown on a map of Tract No. 6978 recorded in Book 281, pages 49 and 50, Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County; thence following along a portion of the centerline of said Woodwind Lane North 790 35' 5811 West, 6.05 feet: thence South 760 49' 2lu West, 50 feet to the true point of beginning, said point of begin- ning being in a curve concave easterly and having a radius of 50 feet, a radial line bearing South 760 49: 21\1 West passes through said point, said point also being in a line parallel with and 20 feet southerly of the centerline of said Woodwind Lanei thence following along said parallel line North 790 351 58ii West, 549.55 feet: thence South 500 09' oaH West, 31.17 feet to a point in a line parallel with and 45 feet easterly of the centerline of Kellogg Drive; thence North 00 46' 00." We.at, 23.58 feet along said parallel line to the beginning of a curve concave easterly and having a radius of 1,155 feet, a radial line bearing South 890 141 OOH We.st passes through said beginning of curve; thence Northeasterly along said curve through a central angle of 20 07' lSu an arc distance of 42.75 feet to-an intersection with a line parallel with and 20 feet northerly of the centerline of aforementioned Woodwind Lane, a radial line bearing North 880 38' 45;1 West passes through said point of intersection; thence South 790 35' 58i1 East, 575.34 feet along the last mentioned parallel line to a point in a curve concave easterly and having a radius of 50 feet, a radial line bearing North 560 01' 1711 West passes through said point; thence Southwesterly, Southerly and Southeasterly along said curve through a central angle of 470 091 22ii an arc distance of 41.15 feet to the true point of beginning. Al\ID BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and she is hereby, authorized and directed to cause a certified copy of this Resolution and Order, attested by her under the seal of the City of Anaheim, to be recorded in ~e Office of the County Recorder of Orange County, California.
