RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM ADOPTING THE MASTER PLAN OF STORM
DRAINAGE FOR EAST GARDEN GROVE WINTERSBURG
CHANNEL TRIBUTARY AREA JANUARY 2006
WHEREAS, the City Council did, in January 1974, adopt the Master Plan far Drainage
for the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the City completed the Master Plan of Drainage for the South Central Area.
in February 1993, completed the First Revision to the Master Plan of Drainage for the South
Central Area in September 1994, completed the Second Revision to the Master Plan of Drainage
for the South Central Area in August 199b; and
WHEREAS, the City completed the Master Plan for Drainage for District 27 in January
1999; and
WHEREAS, the City completed the Platinum Triangle Drainage Study in September
2004; and
WHEREAS, revised storm drainage design parameters and other studies have shown the
need to update the Master Plan of Storm Drainage for East Garden Grove Wintersburg Channel
Tributary Area; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary and desirable to replace all applicable sections and provisions
related to the Master Plan of Storm Drainage for East Garden Grove Wintersburg Channel
Tributary Area January 2006 for the following: (1) Master Plan for Drainage for the City of
Anaheim; (2) Chapter VI and all related applicable provisions related to the Master Plan of Storm
Drainage for East Garden Grove Wintersburg Channel Tributary Area January 2006 of the
Master Plan of Drainage for the South Central Area Second Revision; (3) Master Plan for
Drainage for District 27; and ~4) Platinum Triangle Drainnage Study on file in the Office of the
City Clerk.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim,
California, as follows:
1. The City Council does hereby adopt the Master Plan of Storm Drainage for East
Garden Grove Wintersburg Channel Tributary Area January 2006.
2. All other sections and provisions of prior Master Plans and/or Studies of storm
drainage not related to the Master Plan of Storm Drainage for East Garden Grove Wintersburg
Channel Tributary Area shall remain in fill force and effect.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim this 7th day of March 2006 by the following roll-call vote;
