A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING A SUPPLE-
MENTAL AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA
FOR A CHANGE OF COST DISTRIBUTION OF THE CHAN-
NELIZATION AT THE INTERSECTION' OF LA PALMA
AVE~TUE AND STATE COLLEGE BOULEVARD.
WHEREAS, the State of California and the City of
Anaheim entered into District Agreement No. 2709 providing for
distribution of costs for modification of traffic control
signal system, safety lighting and channelization at the inter-
section of La Palma Avenue with state Highway Route 250. (state
College Boulevard); aIld
WHEREAS, District Agreement No~ 2709 stated that city's
share of the channelization to be a sum bearing the same propor-
tion of the total cost of modification as the number of legs
under their jurisdiction; and
WHEREAS, the state has submitted a supplemental agree-
ment for a change of cost distribution of the channelization at
the intersection of La Palma Avenue and State College Boulevard
designated as District Agreement No. 2709-S1; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City that
city's share of channelization shall be the total cost of the
channelization on the legs under their jurisdiction as contained
in said supplemental agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that .the i-layor and city
Clerk be and they hereby are authorized and directed to execute
said District Agreement No. 2709-Sl for and on behalf of the City
of Anaheim.
