ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT PUBLIC CON-, .
VENIENCE AND NECESSITY REQUIRE THE CONSTRUCTION
AND COMPLETION OF A PUBLIC I;MPROVEMENT,. TO WIT:

APPROVING THE DESIGNS, PLANS, PROFILES, DRAWINGS
AND SPECIF~CATIONS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION'THERE9Fi
AUTHORIZING THE CONSTRUCTION OF SAID PUBLIC IM-
PROVEMENT IN ACCORDANCE WITH SAID PLANS, SPECI-
FICATIONS, ETC.; AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING
THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH A NOTICE INVITING
SEALED PROPOSALS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION THEREOF..
WHEREAS, public convenience and necessity require the
construction and completion of a public improvement in the City
of Anaheim, to wit:
The -West Street - street improvement from approximately 128
feet south of to approximately' 425 feet south of Romneya Drive,
in the City of Anaheim, consistinq of c1earinq and grubbinq:
excavatioD; construction of P.C.C. retaining w~ll and steps;
curb and gutter, sidewalk, driveway approach and driveway:.
construction of asphalt concrete over native soil; construc-
tion of concrete block wa11i modification of sprinkler system:
and appurtenant work as more particularly set forth in the
plans and specifications on file in the Office of the City
Clerk or City En9ineer, Work Order No. 633-A.
AND WHEREAS, the City Council instructed the
Department of Public Works to prepare deta1~ed des1gns,
p~ans, profiles, drawings and specifications, and estimates of
quantities and coats and make necessary surveys for the con-
struction of said public improvement; and
WHEREAS, said De~artment of Pub~i.Q Works has
prepared said detailed des1gns, ~lans, pr~ 11es,. .ar~w1n9s ana
specifications for the construct1on of sa1d pub11c 1mprovement
and has submitted the same to the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds t~a~ th~ detailed .
