A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OP THE CITY
OP ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLElUt
TO EXECUTE A COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT BETWEEN. THE
CITY OP ANAHEIM, THE CITY OF ORANGE, THE COUNTY
OF ORANGE AND THE STATE or CALI.FORNIA [INTERCHANGE
AT STATE COLLEGE BOULEVARD AND SANTA ANA FREEWAY) .
WHEREAS, the City Council .on July 29-, 19'69 passed its
Resolution No. 69R-449 requestinq certain new connections and a
crossing of the Santa Ana Preeway at State College Boulevard; and
WHEREAS, the State of California has determined that
these are not new connections but merely a proposed crossing and
approaches in said area; and
WHEREAS, the State has presented a Cooperative Agree-
ment to be entered into between the City of. Oranqe, the City of
Anahe.im, the County of Orange and the .State of California, setting
forth the relative obligations of the parties named; and
WHEREAS, in said agreement the City of Anaheim agrees
to cooperate with the City of orange inasmuch as most of the
area involved is outside the city limits of the 'City of Anaheim;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that .it is in the best
interests of the City to execute said agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city Council 'of
the City of Anaheim that the Mayor and the City. Cle;rk be, and
they are hereby, authorized and directed to execute .that certain
Cooperative Agreement rela1=.inq to t.he int.erchange at .S1:a:te .Colleqe
Boulevard with the Santa Ana Freeway.
THE FORE.GOING RESOLUTION is approved and siqned by me
this 14th day of September, 1971.
