RESOLUTION NO. 71R-382
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE GENERAL
PLAN DESIGNATED AS AMENDMENT NO. 124.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did hold a public hearing to consider an ~endment to
the Circulation Element - Highway Ri9hts-of-Way establishing a
major highway designation for Imperial Highway on the portion
north of Santa Ana Canyon Road and a hillside primary designated
for Imperial Highway on that portion south of Santa Ana Canyon
Road, and at said hearinq did receive evidence and reports from
persons interested therein; and
WHEREAS, following said hearing thereon, the Planning
Commission did duly adopt a resolution No. PC 71-140 containinq
a report of its findings, a summary of the evidence presented
at said hearing, and a recommendation that said amendment to the
General Plan, designated as Amendment No. 124 be adopted by the
City Council; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, summary of
evidenc'e, report of findings, and recommendation of the Planning
Commission, the City Council did fix the 24th day of August, 1971
as the time and the Council Chambers of the city Hall in the
City of Anaheim as the place for a public hearing upon said pro-
posed Amendment No. 124 to the General Plan and did give notice
thereof in the manner and as provided by law; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such public
hearing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity
to be heard and did receive evidence. and reports and did thereupon
consider the recommendations of the city Planning Commi.ssion; and
WHEREAS, the city Council does find and determine that
Amendment No~ 124 to the General Plan amending the Circulation
Element - Highway Rights-of-Way establishing a major hiqhway
designation for Imperial Highway on the portion north of Santa
Ana Canyon Road and a hillside primary highway designation for
Imperial Highway on that portion south of Santa Ana Canyon Road,
should be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Amendment No. 124 to the General Plan
~endin9 the Circu~ation E1ement - Highway Rights-of-Way on
said General Plan by amending the Circulation Element - Highway
Rights-of-Way establishing a major highway designation for
Imperial Highway on the north portion of Santa Ana Canyon Road
and a hillside prtmary highway designation for Imperial Highway
on that portion south of Santa Ana Canyon Road be, and the same
is hereby approved.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED the Planning Department be,
and is hereby instructed to amend the General .Plan to conform
to the General Plan Amendment No. 124 herein approved.
