A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN
AGREEMENT EXTENDING THE TERM OF THAT CERTAIN
AGREEMENT ENTERED INTO ON :THE 15TH DAY OP
AUGUST, 1968, WITH RUSSELL S. CLEARY FOR THE
OPERATION OF A PUT AND TAKE FISHING OPERATION
IN THE CRILL BASIN, TO AUGUST 14, 1974.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has entered into a certain
permit agreement with the Orange County Water District (dated
August 15, 1968) and extended pursuant to the request of the
City and the Orange County Water District on that date, granting
to the City the right to conduct certain public recreational
facilities on the property described in that certain agreement
of August 15, 1968; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said license, the City has received
notice of the desire of Russell S. Cleary to exercise his option
to renew the license for one of the two remaining additional
three-year terms from and after the expiration of said license;
and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the city to extend for a
period of three years to August 14, 1974 the riqht to exercise
the license granted to Russell S. Cleary pursuant to the terms,
covenants, conditions and restrictions set forth in the afore-
mentioned license agreement dated Auqust 15, 1968; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that. -.it would. be t.o the
mutual interests of both parties to extend said license agreement
heretofore entered into to August 14, 1974.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the Mayor and city Clerk be, and they
are hereby authorized, for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim,
to execute that certain license agreement for the operation of a
put and take fishing operation, and extending for a period of
three years to August 14, 1974, the right to exercise the license
granted to Russell Cleary pursuant to the te~s, .covenants,
conditions and restrictions set forth in the aforementioned
license agreement dated August 15, 1968.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 10th day of August , 1971.
