RESOLUTION NOD 71R-336 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DENYING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NOD 1241 WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did receive a request for a Conditional Use Permit from Samuel L. Bryant, owner; Dick Rhodes, c/o Ashwill-Burke and Company, agent, to establish an animal care center for the temporary housing and care of lost and distressed animals in indoor quarte~s, inclu~ing training classes on t~e care of animals, on the follow1ng descr1bed property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, to wit: Lot 12 of Tract No. 5452 in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, as per map recorded in Book 211 pages 1 and 2 of Miscellaneous Maps, in the office of the County Recorder of said County. . AND WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a public hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim upon said request on June 2~ 1971 , notices of which said public hearing were duly given as required by law and the provisions of Title 18, Chapter 18.76 of the Anaheim MUnicipal Code; and WHEREAS, said Commission, after due inspection. in- vestigation and studies made by itself and in its behalf and after due consideration o.f all evidence and reports offered at said hearing, did adopt its Resolution No. PC 71-105 0"' -w- Of ant in a Cond~tiona~. Us~ Permit No. 1241 snbja~~ to certa1n conditions therein set forth ; and WHEREAS, thereafter, within twenty-two (22) d~ys from the date of the adoption of said resolution, a written appeal was filed with the City Council protesting the action of the City Planning Commission in arantina said Conditional Use Permit and said appeal was set for public hearing on -1- July 27 , 19 71 , at the City Hall, in the City of Anahe~, and notices of such public hearing were duly given as required by law and the provisions of Title 18, Chapter 18.76 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such hearing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be heard and did receive evidence and reports; and WHEREAS, the City Council does find, after careful consideration of the recommendations of the City Planning Commission and all evidence and reports offered at said hearing, that Conditional Use Permit No. 1241 should be denied. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that the action of the City Planning Com- mission qrantinfii Conditional Use Permit No. 1241 be, and the same is - ereby disa~prOVed , and that the request of Samuel L.
