A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT PUBLIC CON-
VENIENCE AND NECESSITY REQUIRE THE CONSTRUCTION
AND COMPLETION OF A PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT, TO WIT:

APPROVING THE DESIGNS, PLANS, PROFILES, DRAWINGS
~~D SPECIFlCATIONS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION THEREOF;
AUTHORIZING THE CONSTRUCTION OF SAID PUBLIC IM-
PROVE~mNT I~ ACCORDANCE WITH SAID PLANS, SPECI-
FICATIONS, ETC.; AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING
THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH A NOTICE INVITING
SEALED PROPOSALS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION THEREOF.
WHEREAS, public convenience and necessity require the
construction and completion of a fublic improvement in the City
of Anaheim, to wit:

AND WHEREAS, the City Council instructed
t~le Public Norks DepartM.e~t to prepare detaJ.led designs,
plans, profiles, drawings and specifications, and estimates of
~uantities and costs and make necessary surveys for the con-
struction of said public improvement; and
WHEREAS, said PUblic Works Deoartment has
prepared said detailed designs, plans, proflles,.dr~wings and
specifications for the construction of said publJ.c J.mprovement
and has submitted the same to the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the Cit~. COllncl.l finds that the detailed
designs, plans, profiles, drawings and s~ecifications f~r said
public improvement above mentioned, are J.n accordance wJ.th qood
engineering practice and are adequate to serve the needs and
requirements of the City of Anaheim and the citizens and

cesidents in said area tor t.he purposes for which they are
~ntended, and thdt they are adequate for the construction of
said public J.mprovement and should he approved.
NOW, 'rHEREFORE, 8E IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anahe~m that the detaIled designs, plans, profiles,
irawings and specifi,cations for said public improvement herein-
above mentioned and described, be, and the same are hereby,
approved and adopted as prepared by said
Public Works Department ----
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said public improvement
';hall be constructed in accordance with said detailed designs,
nlans, profiles, drawings and specJ.fications as prepared by said
Public Works Department and hereby

,lpproved prior to the awarding of bi.ds therefor.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of the City
)f Anahe~m be, and she 1S hereby, authorized and directed to
publish a notice according to iaw, inviting sealed proposals for
~he furnishing of all plant. labor. services, materials and
'3quipment, and all ut~1i"ties and t:;ansportation, including power,
fuel and water, and performing all work necessary to construct
and complete, in a good and workmanlike manner, in strict accor-
dance with saJ.d detailed designs, plans, profiles, drawings and
':3pecifi.cations as prepared by sa~d Public Works Department

~ttorney of the City of Anaheim for the construction, installa-
t ion and completi.on of said put'lic l.mprovement hereinabove
'nentioned and descr1bed. in accordance with the plans and speci-
fications prepared by said Public Works Department
