A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEn4 DECLARING ITS INTENTION
TO VACATE CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY AND FIX-
A DATE FOR HEARING THEREON.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the. City of Anaheim has
elected to. proceed under the provisions of the Pub1ic Service
Easement Vacation Law, Title 5, Division 1, Arti'cle 5 of the
Government Code, in connection with a request for vacation and
abandonment of certain real property he.reinafter described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that it he.reby declares its 'int.ention to
vacate.; abandon and close to public use those certain easements
for public utility purposes upon, along, over and thr.Qugh .the
following described property situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, and State of California, to wit:
Parcel One:
That certain public utility easement located in the City
of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, to be
abandoned described as an easement over said land for
ei.ther or both pole lines, conduits and incidental pur-
poses, as set forth in an instrument recorded in Book
2515, page 455, Official Records, described as:
That portion of the Northwest quarte.r of the Northwest
quarte.r of the Northwest quarter of secti.on 13, Township
4 South, Range 10 West, S.B.B. & M., described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the north line of said Northwest
quarter distant 331 feet easterly, measured thereon from
the west line of said Northwes.terly quarter; t:h.ence
southe.r1y parallel with said line 179 feet; thence West-
erly parallel with. said north .1ine 95 feet.
Said easement was conveyed to the City of Anaheim, a
municipal corporation, by instrument recorded January 15,
1963 in Book 6395, page 293 of Official Records.
Parcel Two.;
An easement for electric line consisting of cross' arms,
weirs and incidental purposes over, under and across
the easterly 5 feet of the following described parcel of
land;
The North 178.00 feet of the West 330..00. feet of the
Northwest quarter of the Northwest quarter of the North-
west quarter of Section 13, Township 4 South, Range 10 -
West, S.B.B. & M., in the RanCho San Juan Cajon de .santa
Ana,' as shown on a map recorded in Book 51, page 10,
Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County.
and it elects to proceed under the provisions of the Public
Service Easement Vacation Law, Title 5, Division 1, Article 5
of the Government Code.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a time and place for hear-
ing all persons interested in or objecting to' the proposed
vacation and abandonment has been fixed on the 3rd day of
~ust , 1971, at 1:30 o'clock P.M. in the Council Chamber
in e City Hall in the City of Anaheim.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall
certify to the passage of this resolution and shall cause .the
same to be published in a manner pre.scribed by law in the
Anaheim BUlletin, a newspaper of general circulation, printed,
published and circulated in said City of Anahe.im.
