A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM DETERMINING THE NECESSITY FOR, AND
DIRECTING THE ACQUISITION, BY EMINENT DOMAIN,
OF REAL PROPERTY FOR HIGHWAY EASEMENT AND
PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, public convenience and ne.cessity. require the
acquisition of certain real property withi.n the City of Anaheim
for the following purposes, to wit: highway easeJQent and public
utility purposes; and
WHEREAS, th.e City Co.uncil does find and determine that
public interest and necessity require the acqui.si-tion of all
that real property herein described, by. the. .Ci.ty of Anaheim for
highway easement and public utility purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by: the c.ity Council of
the City of Anaheim that public interest and ne.cess:ity require
the acquisition of the following described real property, to
wit:
An easement for road and public utility purpose's. over,
under and across the easterly 28. feet of the wes.terly
48 feet of the southe.rly 75 fee.t of the westerly 155
feet of the northerly half of the southerly half of
Lot lS, in Block K of the Kraemer Tract, as per map
recorded in Book l2, pages 87 and 88 of Mlscellaneous.
Records of Los Angeles County, California.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council find, and
it does he.reby find and determine, that public: interest and neces-
sity require the acquisition of said property by the City of
Anaheim for the aforesaid purposes, and that the taking of the
property hereinabove described is necessary therefor,. and that
the uses to which it is to be put are uses authorized by law,
and the taking of said property is necessary to such uses.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City' Council does
hereby authorize the acquisition of said property by the City of
Anaheim, and the City Attorney of the City of Anah.eim is hereby
directed to institute an action in eminent domain for the acquisi-
tion of the title to said property, and to perfo~ and carry out
all of the necess.ary proceedings and steps incident to the acquisi-
tion of the title to said property and obtaininq immediate posses-
sion thereof.
