A RESOLur.ION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN
AGREEZVJENT WITH THE STATE OF CALIFORi.'1IA.
(SIGNALIZATION - STATE COLLEGE AND LA PALMA)
WHEREAS, the state of California has submitted to the
City, District Agreement No. 2709 providing for the modification
of traffic control signal systems, safety lighting and channel-
ization, upon the terms and conditions and for the proportionate
share of the costs therein set forth: and
L~EREAS, the City Council finds that it would be for
the benefit and in the best interests of the City to enter into
said agreement with the State and that the same should be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that said District Agreement No. 2709 sub-
mitted to the City by the State of California, Department of
Public Works, Division of Highways, providing for the modifica-
tion of traffic control signal systems, safety lighting and
channelization at the intersection of La Pa1ma Avenue with State
Highway Route 250 (State College Blvd.) upon the terms and con-
ditions and for the proportionate share of the costs therein sat
forth be, and the same is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and' the City
Clerk be, and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute
said agreement for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
