A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM ADOPTING AN AMENDMENT
TO APPENDIX A OF THE PERSONNEL RULES AND
POLICIES FOR NON -REPRESENTED FULL-TIME
AND PART-TIME EMPLOYEES ESTABLISHING
RATES OF COMPENSATION FOR CERTAIN
CLASSIFICATIONS DESIGNATED AS NON -
REPRESENTED FULL-TIME
WHEREAS, terms and conditions of employment for employees serving in classifications
that are not represented by a recognized bargaining unit are set forth in the Personnel Rules
Covering Non -Represented Full -Time and Part -Time Employees (Personnel Rules); and
WHEREAS, the Human Resources Director provided in a staff report dated July 11,
2023, two recommendations for a change to the salary range assignment for the Chief of Police
classification; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds it appropriate to amend the
salary range assignment in accordance recommendations presented in the report;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim as
follows:
SECTION 1. Appendix A of the Personnel Rules Covering Non -Represented Full -Time and Part -
Time Employees, as set forth in the document attached hereto and incorporated by reference
herein, be and the same is hereby adopted and that the effective date of such Appendix A shall be
July 21, 2023.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Human Resources Director shall be delegated with
the authority to publish the authorized salary schedules in Personnel Rules and Polices Covering
Non -Represented Full -Time and Part -Time Employees in any format meeting the requirements of
California Code of Regulations section 570.5.
