A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM WAIVING NOTICE
OF LEASE AGREEMENT BY THE COUNTY OF
ORANGE OF CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED
IN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
WHEREAS, the County of Orange Probation Department
proposes to enter into a lease agreement for the purpose of
relocating and expanding the existing North Orange County Youth
and Family Resource Center 8% Opportunities Program which
provides educational and counseling services to youths at 310 W.
Cerritos Avenue in the City of Anaheim; and
.~. WHEREAS, Government Code Section 25351 requires the
County to notify the City Clerk of the City of Anaheim, in
writing, at least sixty days prior to entering into such lease
agreement, unless such notice is waived by resolution of the City
Council; and
WHEREAS, the County has requested that the City Council
waive such sixty-day notice requirement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the sixty-day notice required by
Government Code Section 25351 is hereby waived with respect to
the aforementioned lease agreement.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim thi~h day of April, 1999.
