Commissioner LaShay suggested a $10,000 Fundraising goal to try and cover as much as possible for the students. Based on Commissioner comments, Commissioner Dara Maleki suggested raising it to $25,000. Commissioner LaShay suggests reaching out and focusing on past host families and/or students to bring light to what the Sister City Student Exchange works and their experience. Commissioner Dara Maleki brought up the question of outreach and how far out will they be reaching out to, since Anaheim School District goes outside of the City. The rule is it needs to be within the Anaheim School District and an Anaheim resident to be eligible. IX.
