SECTICN 2: That the annexation of the territory in- cluded within, the boundaries of the GRIVEY A:NNIEXATION and more particularly described as follows, to - 4 - A tract of land being a portion of the NW 1/4 of Section 18, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, San Bernardino Base and Meridian and more particularly described as follows: Beginning at an angle point in the existing Anaheim City Limits line as established by the Gilbert Street Annexation to the City of Anaheim, Annexation No. 37, as passed by Ordinance No. 868 on November 24, 1953, and filed with the Secretary of State on January 11, 1954, said point being located in the northerly right-of-way line of Orange Avenue (40 feet wide) and also being in the easterly line cf the SW 1/4 of SE 1/4 of NW 1/4 of Section 18, T4S, R107V, SBB&M; thence, 1. Northerly along said existing Anaheim City Limits line to an angle point; thence 2. Westerly along existing Anaheim City Limits line to an angle point, said angle point also being the most northwesterly corner of said SW 1/4 of SE 1/L� of NW 1/4 of Section 16, T4S3 R10W, SBB&M; thence, 3. Southerly along westerly line of said SW 1/4 of SE 1/4 of NW 1/4 of Section 18, T4S, R10W, SBB&M to the northerly right-of-way line of said Orange Avenue; thence, 4. Easterly along said northerly right-of-way line of Orange Avenue to the point of beginning. -3- is hereby approved and said territory is hereby annexed to and in- corporated in the City of Anaheim, County of Crangc, State of California, and is hereby designated as the _ _ GRI v EY Ar1NEXATICN to the City of Anaheim. 7-ECTION 3: That from and after the effective date of Ordinance ana the filing of a certified copy thereof with �e Secretary of State of the State of Qalifornia, the annexation of the territory herein described shall. be deemed to be and shall be complete and thenceforth suchh ax.nexed territory shall be, to all intents and purposes, a part of the City of Anaheim, and from and after the effective date of such annexation, all property therein shall be subject to taxation equally with the property within the City of Anaheim and shall be taxed to pay its propor- tionate share of the existing indebtedness and :liability of said City of Anaheim contracted prior to or existing at the time of such annexation pursuant to the written consent of the owners of property in said annexed territory filed with the Clerk of the City of Anaheim prior to the adoption of this Ordinance. _;ECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this Ordinance and cause the same to be published once in the ,i�nahe; _-,i , a daily newspaper printed, published and circulate(: in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, and thirty (30) days from and after its final passage it shall be in full force and effect.
