THE CITY COU-i1CIL OF THE CITY OF ANi-JEIM DQ2 ORDAIN AS FOLLOUS: VTEAREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did heretofore duly pass and adopt a resolution declaring its intention to change the boundaries of the zone or zones hereinafter mentioned and described and did fix a time and place for the holding of public hearings thereon in the manner and as prescribed in Article IX, Chapter 2 of the Anaheim Municipal Code and did duly hold and conduct two public hearings to consider such pre - posed change of zone or zones and did receive evidence and reports from per- sons interested therein and did recommend a change or changes of zones as set forth in Aesolution(s) ivo(s). 5 -- Series 195LL-5-5 of the City Planning Commission; and W`HEAS, upon receipt of the report and recommendation of the City Planning Commission, the City Council did fix the , 0th day of Augugt -, 19_5 , as the time, and the Council Chambers in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place, for a public hearing upon said proposed change or changes of zone and did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided in said Article IX, Chapter 2 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and 6aaMZAS, at the time and place fixed for said public hearing the City Council did hold and conduct such public hearing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be heard and did receive evidence and reports and did thereupon consider the recommendations of the City Planning Commission and did thereupon adopt Resolution (s) lio(s). 2494 ._ finding and determining that a change or changes of zone should be made as set forth in said resolution(s). 1VG11, 2HAREFOR:E , THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF iiNAHE II4 DOES OR.D.A III AS FOLLOWS: S:4;CTIOiv 1, That Article IX, Chapter 2 of the Anaheim Municipal Code "establish- ing zones in the City of Anaheim and therein regulating the use of land, height of buildings and yard spaces; adopting a map showing the boundaries of said zone; defining the terms used in said Article and Chanter; providing for amendment and enforcement thereof; prescribing; penalties for violation and re- pealing all sections or parts of section in conflict therewith" be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the boundaries of the zones set forth in said Article ! , Chapter 2 by adolting a sectional Zoning Map or Maps showing such change or changes as follows: 1. That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Grange, State of California, described as follows, to wit: The property owned by the R. & W. Construction Company of Temple City, California, located at the Northeast corner of West La Palma Avenue and Brookhurst Street in Tract No. 2093, and more particularly described as follows: -1- That portion of the SW 1/4 of the SW 1/4 of the SW 1/4 of Section 5, T4S2 RlO 2 SBB&M, in the City of Anaheim, California described as follows: Beginning at the Sou thwe s t corner of the above described section; thence along the Westerly line of said section N. 0° 19' 44" W. 803.59 feet; thence N. 89'° 401 16" E; 377463 feet to a point on a curve, concave to the Southwest, having a radius of 550400 feet; thence Southerly along said curve 279.22 feet; thence tangent to said curve S. 0° 19, 44" E. 537.00 feet to the southerly line of said section; thence along said southerly line S. 89° 461 201t W. a distance of 447.00 feet to the point o^ beginning. EXCEP`1'ING TILREFROM those dedicated portions of La Palma Avenue and Brookhurst Street. now is Zone R-A, RESIDI]ATIAL-AGRICULTURAL ZONE, and that it be changed to and incorporated in C-1, iVEIGHBORH00D COMMERCIAL ZONE, upon the following conditions: 1. That the owner or owners of the property deed to the City of Anaheim a strip of land 20 feet in depth along West La Palma Avenue for street widening purposes, and a strip of land 10 feet in depth along Brook}lurst Street for street widening purposes. 2. That deed restrictions be filed with the City of Anaheim according to the standards set up by the City of Anaheim for other Neighborhood Shoppin; Centers. SECTION 2, The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby, amended and the property above described shall be excluded from the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in and made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said City Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted andthe City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map to be added to the City Zoning Map and inserted in the Anaheim Municipal Code showing the changes hereby approved and adopted. SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify the passage of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin, a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after its final passa-e it shall take effect and be in full force.
