AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AT�t�ND-
ING ARTICLE IX, CHAPTER 21 SECTIONS 9200.1
AND 9200.14, OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE
RELATING TO LOT WIDTH AND SET -BACK LINES
ON CUL-DE-SACS.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City
of Anaheim did heretofore duly pass and adopt its Resolution
No. 45 -- Series 1953-54, finding and determining that
Article IX, Chapter 2 of the Anaheim Municipal Code, Section
9200.1, Definitions, term "Lot Width,' and Section 9200.14,
C - 1, a (2), should be amended relating to lot width and
set -back lines on Cul-de-Sacs, as more particularly set forth
in said resolution, and did recommend to the City Council
that said amendment to the Anaheim Municipal Code be ap-
proved; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of the report and recommenda-
tion of the City Planning Commission, as set forth in its
Resolution No. 45, the City Council did, after due considera-
tion, approve said recommendation of the City Planning Com-
mission and did thereupon adopt Resolution No. 2350 finding and
determining that said Municipal Code should be amended as
therein set forth.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Article IX, Chapter 2, Section 9200.1, Defini-
tions, term 'Lot Width," be, and the same is hereby, amended
to read as follows:
"SECTION 9200.1. DEFINITIONS.
"LOT WIDTH: The right and left-hand lots enter-
ing the Cul-de-Sac from the straight portion of
the street shall have a line established by a
line tangent to the set -back radius and be
parallel to the straight portion of the street.
The width of the lot at the tangent line shall
be sixty (60) feet. On other lots on the Cul-
de-Sac, widths of sixty (60) feet shall be
established by a tangent drawn at the middle
point of the set -back radius. The minimum lot
depth on a Cul-de-Sac shall be eighty (80) feet.
Also that lot widths on all streets, including
Cul-de-Sacs, shall be determined by the width
at the building set -back line."
SECTION 2.
That Article IX, Chapter 2, Section 9200.14,, C -
1, a (2), be, and the same is hereby, amended to read as
follows:

11(2) FRONT YARD REQUIREMENTS shall be measured
from the front property line for the indicated
edge of a street for which an official plan
exists, except on Cut -de -Sacs on the straight
portion of the street, which shall have a line
established by aline tangent to the set -back
radius and be parallel to the straight portion
of the street. The set -back on lots on the
straight portion of the street on a Cul-de-Sac
shall be 15 feet."
