A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING RATES OF COMPENSATION FOR JOB
CLASSIFICATIONS DESIGNATED AS EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT AND
RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 2005 -171
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 2005 -171 amended Section 2 of Resolution No. 2000R -122
establishing rates of compensation for job classifications designated as Executive Management;
and
WHEREAS, the Human Resources Director has recommended in a staff report dated
May 30, 2006, that rates of compensation for job classifications designated as Executive
Management be amended and that Resolution No. 2005 -171 that established former rates of
compensation be rescinded; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does find that amending the rates of
compensation is in the best interest of the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, as a result thereof, the need exists to rescind Resolution No. 2005 -171.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim as
follows:
1. That Section 2 of Resolution 2005 -171 be amended to reflect new rates of
compensation for Executive Management job classes as stated below:
"Section 2.
Executive Management shall be allocated to salary ranges providing annual
compensation according to the structure listed below:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED this Resolution shall be effective upon adoption by the
City Council.
AND, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that upon adoption of this Resolution, Resolution
No. 2005 -171 shall be rescinded.
