A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 2000R -129 WHICH ESTABLISHED RATES
OF COMPENSATION FOR JOB CLASSIFICATIONS DESIGNATED AS
FIRE SAFETY MANAGEMENT
WHEREAS, the Human Resources Director has recommended in a staff report dated
May 30, 2006, that Resolution No. 2000R -129 be amended in the manner hereinafter set forth;
and
WHEREAS, as a result thereof, the need exists to amend Resolution No. 2000R -129
which established rates of compensation for classifications designated as Fire Safety
Management; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does find that amending Resolution
No. 2000R -129 is in the best interest of the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that,
Section 1 and Section 2 of Resolution 2000R — 129 be amended as follows:
1. That, Section 1 of Resolution No. 2000R -129 be amended by deleting the following
classifications:
Classification
Fire Battalion Chief — Training 40 Hours
Salary Range
X FR30
2. That, Section 1 of Resolution No. 2000R -129 be amended by changing the salary
range for the following classification:
Classification Current Range New Range
Fire Battalion Chief — 40 Hours XF FR20 XF FR30
3. That, Section 2 of Resolution No. 2000R -129 be amended in its entirety to reflect
new rates of compensation for Fire Safety Management as stated below:
"Section 2.
Classifications listed in Section 1 of this Resolution shall be allocated to salary
ranges providing annual compensation according to the structure listed below:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the effective date of this Resolution shall be May 30,
AND, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that except as amended herein, Resolution No.
2000R -129 shall remain in full force and effect.
