A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM ESTABLISHING AND
AMENDING FEES TO BE CHARGED FOR
CERTAIN SERVICES PROVIDED BY THE
ANAHEIM POLICE DEPARTMENT.
WHEREAS, the Anaheim Police Department provides services to the
public to supply clearance letters, California Vehicle Code equipment violation
corrections, copies of audio tapes, responses to false alarms, responses to false
9-1-1 calls, pay to stay jail program, booking of detainees, documenting of private
property impounds and others; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim has previously
established a fee schedule for such services as provided by the Police
Department; and
WHEREAS, the City Council find that certain said fines and fees should be
established, increased or decreased at this time in the manner hereinafter
specified; and
WHEREAS, the fees hereinafter adopted do not exceed the estimated
reasonable cost of providing the service for which the fee is charged; and
WHEREAS, the indicated fees have been considered at a duly noticed
public hearing.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim that the fees for service described in this Resolution provided by the
Police Department are hereby established in accordance with the amounts set
forth on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated by reference herein.
BE IT FURTHUR RESOLVED that the effective date of the fees
established herein is July 1, 200fi.
BE IT FURTHUR RESOLVED that all fees currently established for
services provided by the Police Department shall continue in full force and effect
except as increased and decreased in the Resolution.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City
Council of the City of Anaheim this 20th day of .rune , 2006,
