A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM VACATING A PORTION OF AN EASEMENT FOR. A
STORM DRAIN LOCATED AT 21.50 SOUTH STATE COLLEGE
BOULEVARD (ARCHSTONE GATEWAY) PURSUANT TO
CALIFORNIA STREETS AND HIGHWAY CODE SECTIONS
8330 ET SEQ. -SUMMARY VACATION. (Abandonment No.
ABA 2006-00130.)
WHEREAS, an applicant has requested the vacation of a portion of that 10' storm
drain easement located at 21..50 South. State College Boulevard (Archstone Gateway), Anaheim,
California, in order to clear title far the development of amulti-family residential development in the
Gateway District of the Platinum Triangle; and
WHEREAS, the partian of the storm drain easement to be vacated is not necessary for
present or prospective public utility purposes; and
WHEREAS, the easement to be vacated is superseded by relocation of storm drain
facilities and there are no other public. facilities located within the easement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE TI' RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Anaheim does hereby order the vacation of a portion. of that 10' storm drain easement, as set forth. in
an Easement Corporation Grant Deed recorded February 15, 1967 in Book 8177, Page 4.52 of
Official Records, Orange County, State of California, as shown in Exhibit"A" and, attached hereto
and. incorporated herein by Chis reference.
BE TT FURTHER. RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and she is hereby authorized
and directed, to cause a certified copy of this Resolution to be recorded in the Office of the Recorder
of the County of Orange.
BE TT FURTHER RESOLVED that from and. after the date the certified copy of this
Resolution is recorded in the Office of the Recorder of the County of Orange, the vacation shall be
catnplete and the public service easement vacated shall no longer constitute a public service
easement.
